YOUR WEBSITE SUCKS! Here’s Why

- Why Your Website Sucks?
KEY POINTS TO KNOW:
- One of the biggest reasons why Google is so successful is that they have always kept their website so easy, even your grandma can use it.
- 99.9% of people DON’T learn this lesson from Google. You think, the more options, pictures, links, clutter, etc, the better your website will be. Wrong again Jacko.
- When you watch the “Beltcher Button” video, think how these PRINCIPALS (don’t get hung up on specifics or irrelevant details) also apply to your title, the type of font you use, the color, the navigation, etc, etc, etc.
- Making these types of improvements to your website will increase your sales. It has been proven over and over again.
- Remember, if you are a successful business owner, its probably because you are in the
15% of the population that are “intuitive dominant”. Which means you don’t need your hand held by an authority figure to make every decision in life. You see the big picture first, you understand and see principals and patterns all around you and apply them to other aspects of your life. You don’t get stuck on details because you are too focused on the most pragmatic and efficient way to just get it done.
Well, 85% of people are “sensors” (take in info through their 5 senses) and they generally don’t see things like the big picture, or patterns and principals in their life. They can only see what’s in front of them. So, your website may “make sense to you” but you need to simplify and dumb it down for the sensors because they are the majority of the population. Straight forward, clear instructions, with cute colors is what their brains respond to. Once you start giving them “options” “principals” “choices” etc, their brains shut down and they are unable to move forward and they simply leave your website.
- This is sad information to hear, but look around you… now you know why all the “dumb companies” that play all these stupid games have all the sales while the clear, logical, nice, honest guy is out of business in 2 years.
